Mark Sanna, DC Addresses SACA at NCLC

Breakthrough Coaching, CEO Mark Sanna, DC addressed the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) at the opening session of ACA's 2008 National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) on Wednesday, February 27. In a humorous session, Dr. Sanna shared the “5 Most Extraordinary Moments” in his chiropractic career to an audience of hundreds of chiropractors and students from across the country. “I felt it was important to remind the audience to keep their sense of humor as they prepared to undertake the serious task of lobbying legislators on Capitol Hill,” stated Dr. Sanna. Dr. Sanna concluded his remarks by reminding the audience of the words of Albert Einstein, who, when asked the meaning of life, responded, “Service.” Dr. Sanna continued, “There has never been a time when the chiropractic profession had a greater opportunity to be of service.” Key issues for the conference included national health care reform, veterans’ access to health care, expanded care for Medicare beneficiaries, as well as TRICARE beneficiary access, and the elimination of access to care disparity within the DoD’s health care delivery system. Addressing the subject of healthcare reform, Dr. Sanna shared, “It is not a question of if the chiropractic profession will survive healthcare reform—but when we will realize that we are healthcare reform.”
